Travel to the central region of the island up to the challenging Rio Yaque del Norte river near Jarabacoa. Carving through the “Dominican Alps” you will experience class III to class IV rapids that will change your image of a Caribbean island forever.
Experience jumping from the "El Cerrazo" rock and swimming through the "Crocodile" rapids. Thereafter you will enjoy a huge Dominican buffet back at the ranch overlooking the river.
Please note that as our rafting tours take place in the central mountainous region away from the coast, there is considerable transportaion time involved, normally around 2.5 hours each way depending on how many clients we have that day. The drive is in air-conditioned transportaion and we encourage you to see it as way of seeing a bit of the country on the way and time to take a siesta on the way back!
